Why I Hate The PUJs in Cebu

I've never owned a car in my life. Reasons: 1.I don't know how to drive; and 2. I don't have the motivation to learn because I don't have the moolah to get a car. That is why I had to suffer the consequences of having to commute- along with thousands of Cebuanos- everyday.

The reasons for this rant:

1. There are a lot of jeepney drivers who slows down in order to reach the the junction on a red light. Attention: 04C, O1K and everything that passes Landbank along Osmeña boulevard going west. They're trying to get more passengers who are still on the verge of crossing the street. This can be specially annoying when you're in a hurry and you already saw that the jeepney can still cross the street safely, but the driver deliberately slowed down to wait for the red light.

2.They wait for people who are still across the street, who are far way down the street, and who are beside the street even though they already shook their heads indicating that they won't be riding.

3. Smoke Belchers. It's not healthy, does not smell good and the smell could stick with you long after you dis embarked.

4. There are drivers, and passengers who spit. Even when we're running at 05, the wind could brings showers to the faces of those who are at the back. Yuck, very yucky!

5. They overload. Sometimes it makes me want to scream " Balig piso ra ako eplete ha".
There are still a thousand more reasons why I hate riding on a PUJ, but my blood pressure has risen, so I' d rather think of happy thoughts for now-like the possibility of having my loan approved for my first car. And I said to myself, " cool down man!"
