Demonetized Philippine Bank Notes in My Collection


Currency: One Peso.
This paper bill was used as the medium of exchange during the Japanese occupation in the Philippines between 1942-1945.It features the Rizal monument in the Luneta Park, now Rizal Park.
Year: 1943






Currency: Five Pesos
Obverse features General Emilio Aguinaldo, the man who declared the Philippine Independence from the Spaniards. Reverse shows the declaration of Philippine Independence on June 12, 1898.

Currency: Ten pesos (PhP 10.00)
Obverse shows Apolinario Mabini also known as the Great Paraplegic. Reverse shows the Barasoain Church 
Year: 1986



Currency: Ten pesos
Obverse features Apolinario Mabini and Andres Bonifacio. Reverse shows the Barasoain Church and the blood compact of the Katipuneros
Year: 1998




Currency: Twenty pesos
Obverse features Manuel L. Quezon who served as the Philippine president between 1935-1944. Reverse shows the Malacanang Palace, the official residence of an incumbent president of the country.
